Dear Friends of Hollywood Farms,
Experience Matters
If you are flying, you want a pilot with experience.
If you are traveling, you want a guide with experience.
No matter what you are doing, if you are doing it with someone else, experience matters.

Michael grew up hunting the land at Hollywood Farms and knows it almost as well as I do.
Tommy grew up with Michael and has been working dogs since his college days. He brings a tremendous love for the land, our people, and our dogs.
Shane Drake has been hunting all his life and guiding bird hunts for over 15 years across some of the best places in the country. We were fortunate to welcome Shane to Hollywood Farms this past October as our lead guide and dog handler. His first season was impressive—and our guests noticed. Shane knows what he’s doing, whether it’s handling dogs, reading a field, or elevating the hunt for every guest.
And me?
I’ve been hunting and guiding friends and family here for over 50 years.
Worst-case scenario, you get stuck with me.

Great guides are essential—but so are great dogs.
Shane brought four seasoned dogs with him, and they’ve joined an already strong team. Together, we now have an exceptional string of pointers and flush dogs. They make the whole hunt smoother, more dynamic, and more memorable.

Hospitality is just as important as the hunt.
Chef Scottie makes sure every guest at Hollywood Farms is well-fed—and then some. His food is unforgettable. A winner of multiple state and regional competitions, Scottie brings world-class culinary skill to the South, serving up beautiful, creative meals that are as much a part of the experience as the birds and the dogs.

And then there’s the setting itself.
The home at Hollywood Farms was built in 1850. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places and has welcomed guests for over 175 years. Grand magnolias, live oaks, formal gardens, and five-star accommodations surround you with Southern charm and timeless beauty. It’s not just a place to hunt—it’s a place to remember.

No Matter Your Experience, You’ll Feel Right at Home
We host groups with a wide range of experience—from seasoned wingshooters who’ve hunted all over the world to first-time guests just learning the rhythm of the hunt.
Whether you’re a pro with a custom shotgun or a newcomer holding borrowed gear, our guides, dogs, and staff meet you where you are. We’ll make the most experienced shooter feel at ease—and send the greenest beginner home with birds and stories.
This past winter, we hosted a group of men who travel the world hunting together. They chose Hollywood Farms because we offer something different: complete privacy, unmatched hospitality, and a setting that’s both personal and pristine.
On the last night, over dinner, the group’s leader said,
“I would not hesitate to recommend Hollywood Farms to anyone. It was an amazing experience.”
If you haven’t booked your hunt yet, we still have early and late season dates available in late October and March, and a few open dates from November through February.
We look forward to sharing the Hollywood Farms experience with you and your group soon.
Warm Regards,
Chuck Duggan & The Hollywood Farms Team
