Walkin’ in High Cotton
The cotton crop was really good this year. Cotton is awfully pretty when it’s ready to pick, and the sunset over the cotton was something special. It’s about as close to a white Christmas as we’ll ever get here, but it showed up early – in November!
Speaking of cotton, the sisters did an amazing job decorating for Thanksgiving and made a special family event even more beautiful.
Kathleen needs a truck though. All that cotton, longleaf pine, and holly somehow ended up in the back of her car!

Good company around a fire is always a pleasure, especially at sunset. I’ve always said, “God paints best,” and those skies always stop me in my tracks.
After you’ve been behind great dogs with great guides and chasing fast-flying birds, it’s nice to come back to a warm place.
We always look forward to those appetizers, a good drink, and time by the fire – shared only with your family, friends, or clients. No one else.

We love getting folks out in the quail woods this time of year. It’s cooler, fresher, and just feels right. If you want to get a hunt in this season, now’s the time to reach out.
