Dear Friends of Hollywood Farms,
One of the things I love most about what we do at Hollywood Farms is the people.
They come from all over the world to hunt with us—South Africa, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and over 20 states by my count. And that’s just in the first three years of being open to guests outside the family.
So when I get notes like this one—received just today—it makes my heart sing:
“Hi Hollywood Farm. I thought about you fine folks and your operation a great deal over the past 7 months. 78 years old, former adventurer-missionary in Africa…. I dream a lot…. my dream brand, i.e. ‘Classic Ole South Bush Life!’ I still believe you folks come close to keeping a big slice of that alive today. I would love to visit and do an overnight quail hunt…… Is it possible to foresee an occasion when I could come …..to visit-hunt and create some old memories from new impressions? Yes, I do have a lot of time for an active imagination.”
Here’s a man who hasn’t even been here yet—but from our website and what we stand for, he already knows who we are. We spoke for more than half an hour this evening. I can’t wait to welcome him in person.
